Practice and Relevance in Developing Knowledge and Wisdom
In the light of a 'practice turn' in management theory, we seek innovative papers that enable bridging gaps between Theory and Practice. What and how we apply theories will affect opportunities and lives of people in both developing and developed regions. The practitioner has a logic of his or her own. How can theories be developed that accommodate this practical logic and how can these theories be made relevant to their local conditions and cultures. ICABR is a multi/inter-disciplinary conference focusing on applied business and development research and emphases the prospects of new ideas, methods and their application in supporting the development of positive social and economic values.
The conference therefore seeks stimulating papers that provoke thoughts and share and extend knowledge, practice, and techniques. Analytical and empirical papers are both welcome. Potential areas of interest include - but are not limited to:
With these topics, we would like to cover all economic, social, political, and technical factors that influence decision-making aimed at value creation in the social and economic field.
Thus, any paper corresponding to this broadly conceived theme of the conference would be welcome.
